High School Football

Here we are @ our first High School football game. We went because Payton loves to listen to the band, and because Kyra (Rose's daughter) is the drum major. You can tell that Payton is very interested and Xoie couldn't care less. Oh well, it was fun!

When we were driving to the game, we felt like we were going to a game at the Y. There were cars on either side of the street for about 2 miles. When we went to the parking lot so Mike could drop us off, there were 4 rows of cars w/ about 20 cars one behind the other. It was crazy. We are in a town of sport maniacs, and we LOVE it!

Filling's anyone?

Mike has been a busy man this week. He was elected vice Pres. of his class, had to do a wax up and a filling all in one week. He loved every minute of it! All I can say, is that I married a man of many tallents! I am proud of you babe!

When the instructor was walking around the room looking at the different fillings that people were doing, she stopped w/ Mike and asked if he had ever drilled before. He told her no and her jaw dropped! She told him that his filling looked just as good if not better than some 10 year veteran Dentist's. I guess he went into the right field! It looks HOT doesn't it!

Some pictures of our week.

Update!

Our kids are getting so BIG, that we decided to share some updated pictures so ya'll don't forget what they look like. Unfortunatly Xoie was born blessed w/ a double chin. As you can see, it is getting bigger!

Payton loves to sing, that is right, SING. He raises his arms, opens his mouth, and let's his voice be heard!

Xoie, was laughing in this picture. It was the first time in her life that a little giggle came out. It was music to our ears!
Here are our little angels! Payton loves holding his little sister whenever he can.

The Mormon Martini

So tonight we had a couple of Mike's friends from school over for dinner. They are not LDS, but they know we don't drink. To make them feel comfortable we made some MoRmoN MarTiNi's! We got the classic martini glasses dipped the rim in chocolate sauce, filled the bottom w/ brownie bites, added ice cream, and topped it off w/ chocolate sauce. Needless to say, it was a HiT!

Our little painter!

We are painting the dinning room, and when Payton came downstairs and saw me painting, he wanted to be a part of it as well. He got a brush and went to town! Now every morning he goes to the wall and says "paint".

Look at that technique! He's a pro.

Happy Birthday Brooke!

Happy Birthday Brooke! We love you so much and we are sad that we can't make it to your party, but we know you will have a great time. Mike wants to be there so he can blow out your candles! He will tell Doug and Alan to take care of it for him! Good luck and we love you so much.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

GO UTES!

We are so sorry to have missed Grandpa Hansen's birthday, so we decided to celibrate it here.We made a cake, sang the song, and enjoyed the chocolate on chocolate! It was a good day.

We called Grandpa to sing the song to him, but we got his answering machine. It was time for Payton to go to sleep so he wasn't in the mood to wish Grandpa a happy birthday, so when we asked him to say happy birthday he just cried into the phone. We told him if he could say it we would put him to bed. He said it right away and we put him to bed!

Who's the man!

This is Mike's first wax up here in Pitt, and he did an excellent job! He spent a couple of nights working on it at home and Payton loved trying to blow out the fire Mike was using to melt the wax. It is going to be fun birthday for Payton this year. He will know how to blow out the candles!

Mike could do this for hours! He did grow up in Kearns, so he is used to working with chemicals! He does a great job in molding the teeth. We are so proud of him!
PITTSBURGH!
We made it! We are officially in the city of (it seems like) a million bridges, and we are having a wonderful time. Mike is all setteled into school and things are going well for him. Our neighbors are wonderful and have helped us feel welcome here. Thanks to our parents who helped us out emensly on moving in, you are the greatest!
